So, I go once again, this piece of corpus Christi is not just the piece, like the day is

fine, the day is what it is, it's Sunday, it's great, it's awesome, it's good, we're

here.

But the reality of the Eucharist is the reality, I think that I would say, is change my

life more than anything else in my entire life, more than anything else in the world.

And if there's anything I could ever want to talk about, it would be the Eucharist.

So, today is June 6th, and this is the anniversary of my resignation of Sardinian on June 6th, and it

just reminds me because I remember the first time I was ever invited to go give a talk

in a church, I think I was a seminarian, and they said, hey, come on back to the brainer

and give a talk.

What do you want to talk about?

I was like, oh, how about the Eucharist?

And then when I was first ordained, and I got to preach as an ordained deacon, it was

at a Eucharistic adoration time.

So, I got to preach on the Eucharist, and the very first time I got to preach as a priest

at June 6th, you have many years ago, I got to preach on the Eucharist, and it's just

such a gift to be able to be back here on an anniversary day, and talk about the number

one thing I think that's not just in my life.

I think it's the number one thing in life is the Eucharist, which this truth, this reality

that Jesus is truly present, body, blood, soul, divinity in the Eucharist is worth everything.

And it's also one of the reasons why it's so painful when we realize that I think something

like only 24% of Catholics in the United States believe that.
