Nobody is going to hit his heart in life, but it ain't about how hard you hit. It's about how hard you can get hit and keep moving forward. How much you can take and keep moving forward. That's how it is done.

Now if you know what you're worth, I'll go out and get what you're worth, but you've got to be willing to take the hits. And not point in fingers saying you ain't where you want to be because of him or her or anybody.

The powers do that and that ain't you. You better than that.

I am Helmsy, it's the kickoff hour. And I'm currently sitting here in the broadcast, plaza and teleport by my lonesome.

I'll explain it a few. Greg had to go tinkle, so he left me just sitting here.

We are speedy list today. We'll explain in a minute. I am just getting back in the swing of things. So you'll have to excuse me for.

Greg, how are you? I'm good, buddy. I stepped out with that intro. I thought it was one of the long ones. I guess.

I was sitting there and I thought, well, wait a minute. He just said, no, he's just rocky ended with his little intro and it started playing. I thought, well, I better run over there and do something about that.

I thought that thing was longer than that. I didn't look. It's okay. We swapping a minute. Yeah, we'll roll back around.

So speedy's out. So to give you an update on him, he, uh, his son, pitches for Jacksonville State, and they made it to the regional in Oxford, Mississippi. Ole Miss was hosting.

You had Ole Miss. You had Illinois. You had Clemson. And you had the Gamecocks from Jacksonville State.

And Jacksonville State lost the first game to Ole Miss. Then come back and beat Illinois the next, then turn around beat Clemson and found herself in the finals against the Rebels.

And when speedy took off to go to this, I'm just going to call it like it is. Great, great team. They've had a great year, but we didn't expect them.

Correct. Well, put this way. This region, William was their first in the history of school and the first time in a championship game for a regional.

But so what I'm saying is we thought he would be back. Well, he got home what, three o'clock this morning.

But the game ended last night. I say he got on the road. It was probably after 11, uh, close to midnight.

And, uh, and he gave us a Marco Polo at 3 a.m. this morning saying he'd just got home.

And, and so, uh, we told, we told we kind of got out in front of it. I realized for some reason I had in my mind that he didn't play till today.

And so I thought, well, I'm going to call him and say, hey, why don't you y'all stay the night and all that and enjoy the game tomorrow.
