It's Dan Patrick show. Another night of NBA playoffs and other fan incident this time. Somebody try to run on the court

with the wizard 76ers game during the weekend. Somebody in the Boston Garden through a bottle of water bottle at Kyrie Irving.

All sorts of theories as to why fan behaviors getting so bad now. But it really doesn't matter why the bottom line is it's unacceptable.

In fact, we just got something that was sent out from Salt Lake City NBA and forces enhanced code of conduct after bad fan behavior.

The NBA is enhancing its fan code of conduct following several reports of misbehaving fans, including an incident in Utah.

NBA is saying it will no longer tolerate anything that jeopardizes a safe and respectful environment for both spectators and players.

Doesn't say anything doesn't get specific but fans are accused of making racist comments towards Jama Rance family who were in attendance in Utah.

Trey Young of course was spit on by a fan in New York, Russell Westbrook had popcorn dumped on him in Philadelphia.

Then you had the moment yesterday where a fan ran out on the floor at least tried to and then got.

Attackled there. I don't know if it's a deterrent you know lifetime ban is not in my opinion because it's really hard to enforce that.

So it's this is different you know you had the bubble last year where you were you know totally inoculated you know there's only players in there you were safe in there was the bubble now.

It feels like it's a get out of jail card the pandemic's over come on out let's go celebrate. Let's go drink some beers.

You know but the league has a chance to be decisive you know they have to jump in and let fans know the kind of behavior is not going to be tolerated and I know it's only a couple of people.

But they're getting a whole lot of publicity teams have to be strict fans have to be better almost itself policing.

You know you go back to what happened with Russell Westbrook it didn't take long for fans to be pointing at the fan the culprit pouring popcorn on Russell Westbrook.

You know maybe 10 15 20 years it's different but they did point out that fan and fans have to be better.

Hopefully it's the last time we're talking about this here's Kyrie Irving on going back to Boston and somebody throwing a water bottle at it.

You know we're not at the theater we're not throwing tomatoes and other random stuff at the people that are performing you know it's just too much and it's a reflection on.

You know us as a whole when you have fans acting like that so hopefully people learn their lessons from being banned for a very many years of being arrested but you know it's always going to be an occasion.
