Star Naomi Osaka stunning her sport by saying she'd rather not play than play

nice with the media. Naomi won her opening match at the French Open but was

fined $15,000 because she refused to appear at a mandatory post-match news

conference. Before the tournament began she announced she wouldn't speak to

the press in order to preserve her mental health and avoid repetitive and

potentially negative questions but the rules are clear all players are required

to attend these press conferences and yesterday the second rank player in the

world tweeted that her stand had become a distraction she needed to focus on

her well-being and would be stepping away from the court for a bit. For the

second year in a row a Memorial Day tradition got a helping hand on this

special holiday in 2020 Emily Dominic was visiting her grandfather's grave in

Arlington National Cemetery when she noticed the military memorial was

mostly empty due to the pandemic so she made an offer on Twitter to visit

graves on behalf of others who couldn't be there. The 36 year old expected one or

two responses instead she got hundreds Emily decided to make the same offer

this Memorial Day even though many COVID restrictions are lifted and the Travis

Mannion Foundation that supports families of fallen soldiers joined in the

effort over the weekend placing small wooden American flags at over 4,000
