And we begin with astronauts Benkin and Hurley about to address Americans from

low-Earth orbit. The two men docked on the International Space

Station yesterday 19 hours after shooting into orbit on the top of a SpaceX

rocket for the first ever manned spaceflight by a private company.

In route, they continued a long-standing NASA tradition of naming their ride.

In honor of the first shuttle they ever flew in and the effort that went their know NASA also had a nickname waiting for them.

Inside the space agency they're known as the dads,

which is reportedly a nod to their age and stage.

Back here on Earth, it's been a sad and tumultuous few days. So much so

Nike responded with a stark play on its famous slogan. In a text-only campaign

the company is telling Americans for for once, don't do it.

Meaning, don't pretend there's nothing wrong.

Don't pretend some people in this country aren't treated differently because of the color of their

skin.
