Hello everyone and welcome to the Diz Unplugged Roundtable discussion for the new

May 31st, 2011. I'm John Meijai and I'll be your host this week and I'm joined in the studio by

our Orlando team. Scott Smith, Kathy Whirling, Julie Martin, Cory Martin, Kevin Close,

and Max the intern back in the peanut gallery. Pete Werner, Walter Eccles, and Trees Eccles are

currently on 11 night Disney cruise line Mediterranean sailing with their adventures by Disney Anons

and a different segment coming up. They've actually recorded a whole podcast about their Barcelona

escape package and all the fun things they did on their vacation so far. Other segments we have

coming up, Kevin Close gives us a re-review of Boma at the Animal Kingdom Lodge. Cory and Julie

Martin talk to us about a recent experience flying with young children and offer some advice

to parents and a Disneyland team has a full Disneyland podcast. This segment Cory Martin and

Scott Smith are going to tell us about their experience at a recent press event for the American

Idol stuff. Well, it's not about the American Idol experience. It was American Idol in general

because the winter was there and this was at Disney Hollywood Studios and Kathy Whirling, Kathy Whirling

talks to us about her perspectives on the event as well as the American Idol parade. So I want

you guys to tell us what happened and what went on. It was pretty quick. The yesterday, May 30th,

the 2011 American Idol winner Scotty McCreary was the featured attraction in the 10 o'clock parade,

10 o'clock in the morning. The featured attraction. He was the parade. I think this is something they

do every year with the winner. I know you've been in the past, Kathy. Been there every year. I think

this year was the most most people there and the most enthusiastic. See, I don't know if there's any

American Idol contestant that I like enough to go that early in the morning and fight a crowd.

Would they maybe the exception of Kerry Underwood or Chris Dottry or something? He didn't win.
