Oh, oh, oh, oh. And do me. So as we see some of the damage. Now here's the bottom line.

First at the coast, highest surge is happening right now. This is a huge surf.

Many roads and highways underwater. Inland, there's going to be hurricane force winds well inland.

It's going to follow the Interstate 59 corridor, it looks like.

There's been structural damage already reported in New Orleans and several other cities along the

coast. Massive power outages, too, and local flooding, a major concern, levy break already noted in New Orleans.

Now earlier this morning we've been talking with Jim Cantore he's in Gulfport Mississippi

his producer Simon Temperton is there as well with him. We're going to talk to Simon now by phone.

Simon, it sounds like you guys are getting hit pretty hard where you're located.

Having us an understatement, we're going through some unbelievable conditions right now.

We're actually in the arm-ports retirement home here in Golf Port, and we're standing inside and water has been seeping into the building.

I'd say we had like a 20 foot lease that much

storm search outside. It's washed all our vehicles away, rental cars and

everything else. Now water is seeping into the home here, we're hacked all day, and the warnings could hardly have been more stark.

We are facing a storm that most of us have feared.

I do not want to create panic, but I do want the citizens to understand

that this is very serious.

The fact that we went from 175 miles per hour down to 165,65. That's the difference being

rental about 18 wheeler or by freight train and neither prospect is good.

The city flooded not just with stormwater but with sewage and

chemical residue from the plants that surround it.
