0:39.1	intro to investing. I know you've been anxiously awaiting it, so hopefully I do not let you down.
0:45.0	Spoiler alert, I have not yet scoped out or spec out the rest of this beyond this first
0:49.8	episode, but I have a loose idea of the topics I'll be discussing. It's going to be at least four or five
0:54.9	parts. Today is going to be about a background of some intro, things and concepts and things to be
1:03.3	aware of and have in mind when thinking about investing. And then I'll also do a quick run-through
1:08.3	of the different account types because ultimately all investments need to be held in some sort of, not all, but most investments, traditional
1:14.6	financial investments need to be held in some sort of account. So speaking of financial investments,
1:19.8	this whole series is going to be focused on traditional, what I'll call traditional financial
1:25.7	investments, things like stocks, bonds,
1:28.5	mutual funds, exchange, trade of funds, or ETFs. And I'll touch on those things in more detail
1:34.1	and further episodes. I may also do episodes on alternate asset classes like crypto assets or
1:40.7	using cash value life insurance, not that it's an investment and should never be
1:44.8	sold or pitched as an investment, but it does have investment like a component to it in some cases.
1:50.4	Real estate, whether it's rental real estate or like fix and flip real estate, those could be
1:54.6	investments. I might even do one about what to do with cash, cash alternatives, things like
2:00.0	savings accounts, CDs, treasury bills,
2:03.2	maybe, I don't know. Actually, I may have done an episode on that already, but we'll see.
