Hello and happy new year. Welcome to the Jeff MacColino podcast. I am so grateful that you have joined us or me for the first podcast of 2022 the 55th episode.

It's already enough where it's hard to keep track.

This was only my second new years and over a decade that the children were with their mother instead of me on New Year's Eve.

I went out downtown St. Pete was ridiculously foggy.

So one thing I learned and I think most people in the group I was with we couldn't plan to take boats out.

Couldn't really do much of that because it was heavy fog. You don't want to ride a boat and fog like that for obvious safety reasons.

But we thought we'd be able to see the fireworks through the fog in case you're wondering you cannot.

It was you could hear them and you could kind of see some color through the fog, but definitely not.

I don't know maybe stupid. I we don't deal with fog all that much, but foggy foggy week or two down here.

So anyways, I hope you enjoyed whatever way you rang in your new year and your Christmas.

I think I gave you an episode after Christmas already, but you know I was talking to my daughter Isabella today and she said, you know the thing about Christmas is you you like build up anticipation for it for like almost two months and then you know it's a week Christmas to New Year's.

And it's all done. I'm like, yeah, it's kind of I don't know I'm kind of already I guess it's only been a few days, but I'm I'm in I'm in that fog of it's over we've we've got nothing to look forward to.

Except for more episodes of the podcast and speaking of I've been you know sitting down with with a pen and a pad trying to get to stay on label off.

I'm planning some new ideas for this podcast.

It's interesting how that's turned out.

He has a background at stand-up comedy sketch comedy and he is a self-proclaimed but proves he knows his shit is a Taco Bell expert.
