Today's expression is drained, to be drained. I'm drained. Drain. D-R-A-I-N. Now, usually when you think of the word drain, we should think of our kitchen sink or maybe the bathtub. And let's say we're washing dishes in the kitchen and the water is

dirty the water goes down the drain and it disappears it goes down the drain drain so the idea

of a drain is it takes something away it takes away the. It takes away the water. It takes away the dirty water. Okay?

But if a person is drained, it means their energy has been sucked away.

So if you said, I'm drained, it means I'm tired.

I have no energy.

I'm very tired.
