0:06.3	other than Maddie J with us, who is one of the students that is, you know, you've got to keep your
0:11.5	eye on at Berkeley College of Music. And I thought it would be great to get Maddie on because
0:16.1	she's got a lot going on. She's got a fantastic band that she's going to tell you all about in this interview.
0:22.7	But also what I thought would be really interesting is if you could hear about her experience, about getting into Berkeley, what led up to that, but then also her experience in Berkeley.
0:32.5	Because it's one of the most prestigious music schools in the world, You know, everybody in their dog is interested in
0:39.5	what goes on behind the scenes at Berkeley. And I thought it would be amazing to get Maddie on
0:44.9	because she's or has gone through the process and also is an academy member as well here at
0:52.1	Scott's Bass Lessons. So it's going to be a great interview today
0:54.7	and I'm sure you're going to love it. Now before we get into it, I also want to give a shout out
0:59.4	to everybody that came along to the London Bass Guitar Show. It was an absolutely phenomenal
1:05.2	experience. We had our own room there and we were hosting four workshops each day over the weekend,
1:12.8	Saturday and Sunday. I did a workshop. Steve Lawson did a workshop. We had Stefan
1:19.5	Retenbachers, Zoltan Deccany. We had Cody Wright. We had Chris May. It was, it was phenomenal.
1:26.0	And we had Phil Mann as well. Essentially a ton of the
1:29.8	the SBL faculty from the Academy and it was just an absolute scream. So huge thanks to everybody
1:36.6	that came along. I expect a lot of you Academy members will be wondering whether you can
1:41.7	well get your hands on the material that we filmed while
1:45.1	we were there just in case you couldn't make it. Because obviously, I think something like
1:50.2	60 or 70% of our audience are in the States and there's only a small portion of our members
1:57.4	actually in the UK. So the good news is that yes, we recorded the entire event and
2:03.9	we were worried a little bit about the audio because we didn't know what to expect really and
