Today, I want to talk about what is tax planning, quote unquote, tax planning.

This is a good one. This is a, I'll start by saying it's a super fuzzy gray nebulous, not formally defined term tax planning.

It's more, as you'll see as I go through this, it's kind of, I'll know it when I see it. I know what's not tax planning or I know when tax planning

isn't being done and I know when it is, but because there's no standardized definition of what

exactly it is, what it involves, who does it, who doesn't do it. It makes it really hard.

So hopefully you'll get something from this and have a better understanding of what it is,

what it's not. And I'm going to end the episode with trying to give my thoughts on how you can

attempt to find someone who does tax planning, if tax planning is what you're looking for.

Spoiler alert,

there is no single source or neat and pretty search tool to find someone who does it. Again,

coming back to the reason is that it's not a formally defined term, a regulated term. There is

no standard definition what exactly it is or who does it. Therefore, how do you find that person?
