I'm your host, David Scales.

We are thrilled to have you for what is arguably one of the biggest guests that we've ever had on the show. And that is, of course, Mickey Munoz. I'm actually recording the intro and the outro for this episode

here in my hotel room in Boston, Massachusetts. And in an effort to kind of keep the show consistent and to update episodes weekly

kind of made the studio mobile and we bring it on the road and we've recorded episodes in

Hawaii, multiple countries in Central America and kind of all over the world and all over the

U.S. certainly. And so I'm able to do that

and I appreciate you tuning in and kind of giving that feedback about wanting more consistent

content. The interview portion of this episode, however, was recorded in Mickey's home

in Southern California.

And it's just really an honor, actually, to even enter Mickey's home and to spend time there.

Really eclectic little beach house with just a tremendous amount of surf history.

And that conversation that we had, actually this conversation that we had, took place over the course of three hours.

And so what I've elected to do is actually split the interview into two parts.
