This is episode 52 of the Swallier Pride Podcast and today we are back with Pam Holland.

We had Pam on back for episodes 47 and 48 with her wonderful grad students.

And she had a few undergrads too from Marshall University.

But this time we're going to actually talk with Pam

And that's supervision.

And it's funny to hear Pam say that she never thought she would want to

specialize in supervision but we are so glad that she is here to talk to us about it

today because I know you know a lot of us want to get into helping to supervise grad students and teach them what we know and heck we know that they have a lot to teach us too.

And I think sometimes we just don't really know where to start with that collaboration.

So Pam's here to help us get on the right path with that.

And Pam Holland graduated from Marshall University in 1995, worked in a variety of

in West Virginia, Kentucky and Ohio,

before returning to Marshall in 2002.

Her rule shifted to tenure track faculty in 2004.

She became the Director of Clinical Education in 2006.

She founded the MU Feeding and Swallowing Clinic in 2013 and specializes in Pediatric Feeding

and Swallowing Disorders. In addition to supervising graduate students in the Feeding

Unswallowing Clinic and providing feeding therapy via telepractice,

she carries a small caseload in birth to three.

Most recently, she joins a multi-agency coalition

called Healthy Connections to help improve outcomes for children diagnosed
