Florida, visiting my episode 50 guest and staying with him for his, well, almost birthday.

And I think this one will come out on his actual birthday. So happy birthday to Joseph.

You know, kind of humorous because I went, went and hung out with him all weekend and

the almost the whole rest of the family. And of course, our interview for the podcast

that came out last week was on Zoom. So funny timing as far as that goes. But any who,

one time, always nice to relax and get away from the huge city that I live in, of course.

So that was nice. And this episode is nice. This was a very fun one that I hope you enjoy.

I am speaking with Michael Brent Collins. He is a very versatile author. Michael Brent Collins.

Now he's an ex attorney. He quit his job and has become an international bestselling author.

He writes all across the board, different genres. He's mainly known as a horror writer.

He actually on rancor.com was rated, I believe, 80th, but in the top 100 greatest all-time

horror writers by rancor.com. So acclaimed author. He also has a TED talk that I watched

that was really meaningful in moving, you know, check that out as well. You can just look

his name on YouTube up and I'll link everything of course. But we talk about mental health issues.

He's had problems with depression and suicidal thoughts and psychosis. So we talk about that

on the back end of the podcast. Really just immensely nice man, really fun talking with

him. Just one of those people who you just want to talk to forever because really nice,

nice person and you can hopefully tell that in this conversation because it's just one

of those, you probably know the types, the guys who just make you feel good when you talk
