Hello and welcome to episode 51 of connecting with Walt. I am your host and is historian Michael Bowling and I am joined by my co-host, producer, good

friend, and world traveler, Craig Williams. Craig, how are you? Welcome back to the States.

Oh, thank you for letting me return. I am, I am doing great, and I am glad to be back home. I wasn't finished building that wall in time. Yeah, right? But no, yeah, I'm good. It's, uh, it feels good to, to be back home. 16 days is a long time away. Don't let anyone tell you anything different. Well, you know, you weren't gone much less time when you did your big Tokyo and China trip last year. And when Carol and I did our first Disney cruise, it was through the Panama Canal and it was

16 days.

No.

So you know exactly where I'm coming from then.

I loved it.

I could have gone 16 more days.

I just, I love it, but it's one of those, the funniest parts of traveling is, when you're in there

experiencing it, you love every second of it, but you just kind of dream of home at the same

time too, but then once you get home, you just dream of going right back on vacation. It is

just so bizarre. I'll never understand it, but I'm glad I got to

see Italy in my lifetime. I hope it's not the only time, but I'm glad that I could check it off

the list. Your photos were magnificent. Oh, thank you. Those are just the phone photos. I still have the actual ones to go through,

but it's really hard knowing that you have like four hours of video to go through and sit down and

have to watch all of it just before I can start actually editing it and putting it together.

So I'm going to have a rough couple months.

Now, Craig and I are putting together sort of a Walt travel-themed episode in the future,

and Craig will talk a little more about his travels there.
