And I am joined by my co-host and producer Craig Williams.

Craig, hello.

Hi, Michael. How are you? Hi. Fine, thanks. I hope you're doing well.

I'm not complaining. Yes, after two weeks off, during which Craig sailed the rivers of Italy and frolic through the Tuscan Valley with a jug of wine in one hand and a loaf of bread

in the other, we are back with another episode of Connecting with Walt.

Well, sort of.

Craig needed some time to recover from all the pasta, wine, and cheese.

So we are sharing with you a very special episode from the Diz Unplugged

podcast, Disneyland Edition Archives. So a frequent topic of discussion on the Diz

forums and on our various shows is how do we Disney fans bring a little bit of Disney in our daily lives when we're not at a Disney theme park?

One of the ways I do is to listen to Disney music. It may be Disney soundtracks, Disney theme park music,

or Disney music interpreted in jazz symphonic or other music genres.

Craig, I know you are a big listener to Disney music.

Oh, absolutely. Whether it is music from the theme parks, all of the classic soundtracks to the Disney movies, or even, you know, my absolute favorite that I nerd out about is I love all the movie scores.

So much, I, I am just wrapped around Disney music. I love it so much. So I don't, I don't know what it is about Disney music that just stands out. besides the fact that something that we've grown up with, something that's constantly been in our ears.

But, you know, I was just one of those kids growing up that while all the other kids were starting to get into pop music and rock and yeah the music of the time my family was the

one buying me the soundtracks for Beauty and the Beast little mermaid lion king Aladdin hunchback
