When we started production on this season of True Crime Bullshit, there were multiple

investigative pads in front of us.

Some old, some revitalized, some new.

We've continued pouring over the robust career file.

We've continued data mining, which often feels endless.

We've continued looking into Washington victims in the so-called Ellen'sburg couple,

and how they may be related to the abandoned farmhouse and hunters.

We've also continued looking into new potential victims all across the country, and following

up on old leads through new lenses or just for the first time.

It is more often than not, incredibly overwhelming.

There is a quarry's worth of stones to turn over.

And this is where Keyes succeeded most in creating well-orchestrated chaos.

We are daunted, but obsessive, exhausted, but exhaustive.

But there's something exhilarating and watching one binder of research over the years become
