Lincoln County, I feel like from the get go, drop the ball. They were not great by any means.

I tell people all the time, like hope and pray that you never have somebody go missing in Lincoln

County or have any crimes that you need solved or actually look into it. Hopefully it never

happens in Lincoln County because they're, they're shit basically. Sorry, they're shit.

we think they were swept to see and once the police heard that, they never veered from it.

On November 21st of this year, it will have been 21 years since Camille Vollendraff and Jean

Hyatt disappeared from Debo Bay, Oregon on the day before Thanksgiving of 2001.

They will have been missing longer than they were with us.

Last year on the 20th anniversary of their disappearance, I went to Boiler Bay,

where they're believed to have disappeared from. To get a sense of the area and the landscape,

see how truly plausible it would be for them to have been swept out to see.

Or, abducted from the small coastal state park along Highway 101.

Boiler Bay is essentially a scenic viewpoint, an elevated parking area where passers-by can get a

good view of the Pacific Ocean, or use the bathroom, or have a picnic. There are Boilers and

title pools surrounding the overlook, but they're not easily accessible. In fact, they're blocked

by fencing and signs prohibiting people from crossing, likely because they're about 15 feet below

the pedestrian area, separated by craggy rocks and small cliffs. It doesn't necessarily stop

people, those craggy rocks were lined with about six fishermen when I was there.
