Had a really good month last month in August. Sales were surging. Sixty-three thousand vehicles

is a 37% increase on July, and that's good news. In an economy in China, which has wobbled a little bit recently,

they are still behind BYD, though, who are on a complete rip right now. EV knowledge is hindering

adoption, according to new data coming out of a UGov poll by the Energy and Climate Intelligence

Unit. The poll finding that more than half, so 57% of petrol and diesel drivers,

scored terribly when asked about electric vehicles, just general knowledge, questions,

about range and pricing.

And most people who drive a gas car thinking that EVs are more expensive to run,

burst into flames all the time, and that the electric grid

will be destroyed if they buy one and plug it in because they'll not be able to generate enough

electricity, showing that knowledge is indeed lacking at the moment, and we need more, more

ways of reaching those people. I'm not sure this podcast is a great way to reach those people,

because it sort of tend to go a little bit deep sometimes. You need to find ways to reach the

doubters and the haters and just engage in a very nice way to help educate. Now, what's the

best car to buy in the US if you're looking for value? Well, it could be the Lucid Air.

Not so good if you're trying to sell one, because looking at some prices at the minute.
