Today is Wednesday, May 20, 2020.

And we begin with a New Hampshire high school scaling a mountain

to celebrate its seniors.

Instead of the traditional stage ceremony it had planned,

Kennett is giving its grads a ski lift send-off.

Each student will ride a chair to the 2,000 foot summit

of the Cranmore Resort to receive their diploma and a

once in a lifetime picture of the handoff. The only thing ordinary about it

will be the alphabetical order used to head up the slope, a process which is expected to take 30 minutes

per person for each of the 172 seniors.

And for the record, social distancing rules will be enforced with an empty chairlift in between each graduate.

Coast to coast, today's a big day.

As of this morning, all 50 U.S. states are once again

open to some degree. The last to lift at least some of its restrictions, Connecticut,

which for the first time in months will again allow outdoor dining.

And for inspiration, its restaurants might want to copy the ingenuity of a waterfront favorite

in Maryland.

FishTales, Bar and Grill in Ocean City, ordered Chest High,

tables for one that are surrounded by an inner tube on wheels. Diners stand in the middle of

the hole and can roll around the ocean side patio
