One of the things that is ultra confusing to people and I know this when people stop me to ask me questions

about their IRAs or anything like that and they'll tell me they've got this person they go to

and I'll say what do you know whether the person you're going to is what's known as a fiduciary

and asking the question I know the answer that very seldom does anybody even know that word or what it means.

It means they're legally required to do what's in your best interests.

So when they say they don't know I'll then ask a number of other questions.

Like how do you pay this person and the real tip off is when they say why don't pay them anything.

You're paying them a lot because you're paying massive commissions and fees to the person who supposedly is guiding you
