You're listening to Fox Sports Radio. Just so everybody out there is aware the Eastern conference play in for lack of a better way of phrasing it will be taking place tonight.

1:16.0

And we will find out who the seven seed is going to be in the NBA in the Eastern Conference. And this is an interesting scenario because we really haven't seen anything like this in the in the game for seventh versus eight plays.

1:32.0

The Celtics have been a real disappointment finishing the season 36 and 36 Brad Stevens looks out of sorts very often. They are a one point favorite according to Fandall against the wizard to have been a pleasant surprise behind Russell Westbrook.

1:48.0

Whoever wins that game is going to be your overall number seven seed that game by the way taking place scheduled at nine o'clock Eastern on the other side of the equation 6 30 Eastern the Hornets going up against the Pacers.

2:03.0

The Pacers are a three point favorite in that game. One of those two teams either the Hornets or the Pacers will see their season come to a close the other one will advance and have to win that game again.

2:18.0

So if you're out there and you are curious about how this scenario is taking place the seven versus eight game, which is the wizard Celtics whoever wins that game is into the playoffs as the seven seed. Whoever loses will play the winner of Hornets Pacers and that team, which will take place that game well on Thursday.

2:40.0

Whoever wins that game will be the eight seed now a lot of the attention that is out there is rolling in on the Warriors against the Lakers that game is taking place on Wednesday night tomorrow night at 10 o'clock Eastern so super late Warriors going up against the Lakers the Lakers around a four and a half point favorite.

3:01.0

Other game the earlier game on the West Coast is the Spurs on the road against the Grizzlies the Grizzlies are a three and a half point favorite so either tomorrow either the Warriors or the Lakers are going to advance as the seven seed and then on Friday the loser will play the winner of Spurs Grizzlies so that is kind of giving you a road map of what is going to happen in the NBA as we go forward.

3:27.0

But I still think what are we talking about Aaron Rogers the drama surrounding Aaron Rogers continues to grow in particular there now are reports that the Raiders may be stepping up and trying to make an aggressive play for Aaron Rogers as well and I've been telling you guys since this story initially broke that I think Aaron Rogers going to end up a member of the Denver Broncos if I were projecting I think that the Broncos are going to have to give up.

3:56.0

Two first round picks for Aaron Rogers and also that they are going to have to probably trade drew lock and then the Packers will be able to find out hey is Jordan love our guy this year is drew lock is God forbid Blake Bortles basically I think the trend lines continue to suggest that Aaron Rogers is not going to return to green Bay.

4:19.0

If that is true and if you are sitting around in the AFC West I can see why the Raiders need to make a super aggressive play for Aaron Rogers right now what do I mean by that think about what the AFC West would look like if the Denver Broncos are able to trade for Aaron Rogers you've got the greatest quarterback in the NFL right now in Patrick Mahomes who is still only 25 or 20 years ago.

4:48.0

And it's probably going to be great for the next decade plus so the chiefs fans you guys are lucky you've been to back to back super balls you're going to be in the playoffs virtually every year as long as Patrick Mahomes stays healthy.

5:04.0

Then you have the best young quarterback last year I think beyond a shadow of a doubt was Justin Herbert and now they've got a brand new offensive and defensive coaching staff in in L.A.

5:18.0

And I feel really good about the trajectory in the years ahead of Justin Herbert because I thought he vastly exceeded any sort of reasonable expectation that could have been out there for what you could have anticipated that you were going to get to see from Justin Herbert in year one.

5:37.0

And now with the new team offensive line solidified better able to protect him better health on both sides of the ball the chargers had a lot of injuries last year I think the charger is going to be really good for years ahead if the Broncos went and got Aaron Rogers I think you have to feel pretty good about the Broncos at a minimum being very good for the next three or four years with Aaron Rogers.

5:59.0

And then what do you think if you're the Raiders the Raiders it would seem to me with Mike Mayock as the GM and John Groot and as the head coach would be clearly in fourth place in that division.

6:12.0

And you're set with Derek Carr who may or may not be the future of your franchise Marcus Mario to as the backup but you're clearly the fourth best team in your entire division.
