I want to tell you a story about Starbucks getting sued.

Now, Starbucks gets sued.

I mean, how many Starbucks stores are there in the United States?

What, tens of thousands?

Of course there are.

So they have to be getting sued on a regular basis.

Usually the lawsuits against major corporations are fairly frivolous,

and they usually settle very quickly for just a few dollars.

Nuisance lawsuits.

But occasionally you get one to go, whoa, okay.

And this one is a whoa, okay lawsuit.

Starbucks is facing a lawsuit,

accusing them of recklessness and negligence.

A Connecticut man suffered injuries from drinking what he thought was a cup of coffee

and what it was was cleaning solution that was put into the coffee cup.

Matthew Mitchell visited the Starbucks location, ordered hot black coffee.

He was handed a coffee cup with a lid and it felt hot from outside the

cup so he just took his gulp. And he opened the lid and saw the blue chemical solution.

Starbucks later admitted it was a cleaner for coffee machines. And right there, he suffered

serious injuries, emotional distress. that one is always there but

depending on his physical injuries is a big case he felt a burning sensation his mouth throat

stomach had problems breathing uh also had severe dizziness and nausea so far that all sounds
