And we begin with an about face for those working in the White House.

Starting immediately, staffers must wear masks in the West Wing,

which is where the President spends most of his working hours.

The only exception is when employees are seated at their individual desks.

The directive came yesterday by way of a memo after two people with close ties to President

Trump and Vice President Pence tested positive for the virus.

So far, both Mr. Trump and Mr. Pence have resisted wearing face coverings

because they say they get tested every day anyway.

For many doctors and nurses working on the front lines of the pandemic can feel like a marathon.

That's why Nike has announced they will be donating 32,500 pairs of new Air Zoom Pulse sneakers to hospitals.

Nike designed these shoes specifically for hard-working health care athletes

with extra cushioning for long tiresome shifts and no laces to save valuable time and prevent tripping.

And that's not all. The company is also donating over a hundred thousand other products

such as sweat wicking t-shirts and high-performance

soccer socks to make sure that health-care professionals are outfitted, Nike

says, like the true heroes they are. Residents in Seattle may also want some new sneakers

now that the city's mayor has decided to close 20 miles of streets to traffic

permanently.
