Hey friends, Michael Brown here, coming away from Washington, D.C. in the midst of the

First World Summit, standing with persecuted Christians. It is sponsored by the Billy Graham

Evangelistic Association. Christians have come from around the world, including family members of

martyrs. And it's just moving to be there on Thursday night. So last night, a young man got up to read

scripture. He's from Turkey, and English is obviously not his normal language, so he really

had to work hard to read a passage from 1st Peter 4. But he was there because his father,

the Christian leader in Turkey, had been martyred for his faith some years ago. He was at the

conference and doing his best to share the scripture with us in English.

You think, wow, he lost his dad.
