Today is Tuesday, May 11, 2021, and we begin with some kids one big step closer to getting

the Pfizer vaccine.

Yesterday, the FDA okayed it for those between 12 and 15 years old.

The company says under 12s probably won't get the green light until the fall.

That news broke right after a report from Bioinformatics Institute in Singapore suggesting that the COVID-19

virus has now mutated over 6,600 times.

But out of all of those variants, the World Health Organization declares that only three

are said to be of concern.
