I was told over the weekend that the Niners kept their pick a secret in large part because

they didn't want the rest of the teams that they would be playing this first year to

restock their defense to stop trellance.

And I went, what?

Like that's a lot of thought going in there because, you know, when you face the Niners,

you're not used to facing somebody who can beat you with their legs.

And I went, okay, so you're going to not tell anybody.

And did they ever consider Mac Jones or did they consider him and then all of a sudden

they fell in love with trellance?

How's morale?

Well, morale is fine. The draft is over the long national nightmare of height for two months

over a seven round event is over.

And so it's always a happy day the Monday after the draft in the King House.

Yeah.

I know that you're so deeply involved in it, but, you know, for the outsider looking in,

I mean, it's still, it gives hope to everybody.

And that's, yeah, that's what's great.
