And we begin with another state's drinking water on the verge of losing something many

dentists love.

Florida lawmakers just passed a bill banning

fluoride from public water systems, making it the second state, after Utah, to do so.

Supporters of the bill argue the issue is one of personal choice and limiting government

overreach, while opponents, including many dentists and public health officials,

warn removing fluoride could lead to more cavities, especially in kids. Interestingly, the bill

doesn't mention fluoride by name, but it prohibits water quality additives in water. It's now

waiting for the signature of Governor Ron DeSantis. If signed, the move could

impact millions of Floridians who've relied on fluoridated water for decades to help keep
