I came into this world with some ideas that I wished I had held onto longer.

And I know that our parents and loved ones, they did what they thought was right by giving me advice that was

different than what I had come to know. But I listened to them instead of listening to me,

and it set me back a bit. So part of my journey is overcoming programming from limited mindset.

Thank you. I'm so excited to be here. Before we get started in exactly what it is that you do,

I would love it if you would give us a little bit of background as to how nature, the environment,

and sustainability played a role in your childhood growing up? Absolutely none.

Like the awareness of whether or not to buy something based on its packaging or to recycle

with something that I kind of grew up with.

That maybe dates me a little bit, but as a total, society really wasn't into it.

It wasn't a thing to think about until, you know,

as I started to grow up into adulthood, you know, separating your cans from your newspaper

wasn't a big thing. So what was it that was kind of the, the light bulb moment? Was it a single

moment or was it just something you, you gradually came into based on where you were living or your job or what?
