My goal this week is to talk about obstacles in your life. I recently read a great article on LifeHacker.com titled “Six Obstacles That Hinder Your Creative Projects” by Courtney Seiter. In our Episode 12, “Why You Should be More Creative”, we discussed the theology of being creative. Today we wrestle with the reasons we do not accomplish our big dreams in life. 1:08.0	read a great article on Life Hacker.com. You do read Life Hacker, right? Life Hacker.com, titled Six Obstacles that
1:17.8	hinder your creative projects. It was written by a young lady named Courtney Cider and I loved it. It spoke to me
1:26.3	You know I struggle with getting creative projects done. I have a lot of them on the table not all of them pan out
1:32.0	Sometimes they die in the vine, sometimes they get close to completion,
1:35.0	they don't, sometimes they don't even begin.
1:39.0	And way back in episode 12,
1:41.0	we had a podcast titled Why You Should Be More Creative.
1:46.7	We discussed the theology of being creative and how it is that humans participate in the creative power of God.
1:55.0	And today we're going to wrestle with the reasons we do not accomplish our big creative dreams in life.
2:02.0	So this is really a follow-up to episode 12. So if you haven't listened to episode 12, why you should be more creative, you should listen to that podcast after you listen this one. You don't have to listen to them in order.
2:14.0	Okay now before we do that I want to share a humorous story that happened to our family
2:18.9	actually just yesterday. So over the weekend, Joe and I were talking and the kids always look at the calendar because if it's a saint's day that falls on one of the, or if one of our kids, saint's day falls during the week, they can pick ice cream, desserts,
2:36.3	whatever.
2:37.3	And since we have seven kids, and they all have a first name and a middle name and sometimes a
2:42.2	confirmation name that's named after a saint we have a lot of these ice cream parties
2:47.6	There's like 21 plus we have a daughter named Mary and all the Marion feasts get hit.
2:53.0	So they noticed that on Monday was the feast of the nativity
2:58.0	of the Blessed Virgin Mary.
