Welcome to episode 48 of FBI Retired Case File Review with Jerry Williams.

I'm a retired agent writing crime fiction inspired by actual FBI cases and in this

episode we speak to retired agent Todd Holzy now Todd served with the FBI for 15 and a half years, however he actually has more than 21 years of federal law enforcement service.

Prior to obtaining his law degree and joining the Bureau,

Halsey worked for five years as a special agent with the United States

Custom Service, now known as Ice, Immigration and Custom Enforcement.

Holzy is interviewed regarding a nuclear espionage case

involving Pedro, Leonardo, Massaroni and his wife Marjorie Massaroni.

Leo Massaroni was a theoretical physicist, formerly employed at the Los Alamos National Laboratory in New Mexico.

When the FBI discovered that weapons program for that nation, a preliminary investigation and then full

investigation was initiated. Holzy supervised the Albuquerque Division case and the agents, analyst, and surveillance group

members who gathered all the evidence needed to prosecute the Massaronees for espionage. He was eventually sentenced to five years in

prison and she to one year for a legally passing documents which contained

information derived from

classified and restricted data. Post retirement, Todd Holzy, now runs his own law

practice and operates ex-fed productions,

an entertainment consulting firm providing technical advice in the areas of

national intelligence, law enforcement, and military operations to authors,

screenwriters, video game developers, producers, and directors.
