Summary
My latest launch grossed $2.9 million in sales, but you might be surprised to hear we didn't hit our targets and this launch didn't work out in the way we thought it would, but it was by far the most interesting launch I've ever done.
I believe it's so important to debrief and evaluate after a launch, to look at what worked, what didn't and how to improve for next time because it's all the little things that you implement that make all the difference.
What You'll Learn In This Episode:
- Some of the common challenges that occur in every launch we do and how as a team we've learnt to navigate them.
- We saw a new pattern of sales in this launch with clients taking more time to commit to buy. Here are some of the consumer trends I noticed and why FOMO is no longer a strong driver for sales.
- I'll share with you what worked well partnering with affiliates and some best practices I've learned working with affiliates for successful launches.
- How we have made our launches stress-free and fun despite the practical and mindset challenges they inevitably bring up.

| 0:29.1 | Hello and welcome to this week's podcast. It's a solo episode today. I wanted to, while it was still fresh in my mind, talk to about the things that I learned in my $2.9 million launch that I |
| 0:36.4 | had this month. I normally do it even earlier than this, because as soon as you finish your launch, you forget everything. But I've kind of written a few little pointers down, little bullet points of the kind of things that went right in this launch and the things that were challenging or went wrong in the launch. And as always, when I do any kind of launch, I like to debrief with myself and with my team. |
| 1:00.7 | I evaluate it because after a launch, you're kind of over it. |
| 1:05.1 | We're completely honest about it, especially during an affiliate launch because you spent all |
| 1:09.0 | of this time much longer than a normal |
| 1:12.7 | launch, like maybe even two to three months thinking about it. It takes over a little bit. |
| 1:19.2 | But it's really important that you do evaluate, even if you're like, oh, that's done, |
| 1:22.8 | that's over with now. I don't have to think about that anymore. Like make yourself sit down |
| 1:26.3 | and think about it. |
| 1:32.4 | Because after you close cart, every day that goes past, you are going to forget all the little things that might make the difference to the next launch that you do because there are things |
| 1:38.1 | that you won't remember, little tiny things that, you know, oh, we'll do this better next time, |
| 1:42.8 | or we should do this next time, or we saw |
| 1:44.6 | that that happened. So write all of those things down. So that's what I've kind of done in |
| 1:49.9 | brief. But the launch didn't work out the way we thought it would, which is why it's even more |
| 1:54.8 | interesting than normally. It's the most interesting launch I've ever done, and I've done many, |
| 1:59.0 | many launches and I've helped many, many people |
| 2:01.6 | with their launches as well. So I kind of see a lot of what happens in this online world when it |
| 2:07.1 | comes to launching. But this one just went very differently. We had to do some stuff along the way |
