In terms of the numbers of people involved, the gravity of the crimes committed and their impact,

it is clear that the persecution of Christians is today worse than at any time in history.

Not only are Christians more persecuted than any other faith group, but ever increasing numbers

are experiencing the very worst forms of persecution.

Alright guys, that is a line from the subject matter for today's podcast,

and that is from the executive summary of this report called Persecuted and Forgotten,

a report on Christians oppressed for their faith 2015 through 2017.

So this report was put together by an organization called Aid to the Church in Need, or ACN for short.

Aid to the Church in Need, it's basically a Catholic charity, it's a papal charity,

it supports Catholic people and other Christians that are persecuted and oppressed around the world,

or those that are just basically in need of basic pastoral care.
