Here the crooks are Rocky, Alex, Alex, Alex, and Money, who have been using Alex's father's security business to gain access to his client's homes when they're away. But greed and desperation lead them to depart from their usual MO and break into a house while

the occupant is still there. He is a nameless blind veteran played by Stephen Lang, who's

sitting on hundreds of thousands of dollars in settlement money. What they don't anticipate

is that he's extremely prepared for just such an occasion. His house is secured by multiple locks on the doors and windows.

He has a vicious attack dog.

And he himself is a physically imposing man with such an acute sense of hearing

that one creek and the floorboard is enough to get him on the move.
