Joining me today in the studio is Jamie

Klossack. Now, many of you know Jamie as the host of the carpcast, the UK's first ever UK carp fishing

podcast, which he founded with Mark Watson. But prior to all of this, he was probably best known

for catching some of the country's most exclusive and difficult to catch carp.

This all started back on Alstow Pit No. 2, where he landed both the mother and the twin.

This set in motion a string of successful catches for Jamie, including the two Tatten Park Commons,

Mr. Angry from the Manchester Park Lake and sent

Ive Lagoon's, the fat lady, at nearly £60. Now, his biggest personal angling accomplishment

came on a 90-acre Shropshire water known as the Colmere, where he hooked five of only the

seven carp in the lake. The highlight of this being the never

before caught banana common. Now away from his fishing, Jamie has been a professional musician.

He's a very, very good poker player. He was one of the men responsible for creating a Northern

Angling show and he also runs balkan fishing
