Summary

My goal this week is to take a look at the Evangelical Protestant teaching â€œonce saved always saved.â€ Once upon a time when I was an Evangelical, I believed in this teaching. It basically holds that once you have accepted Jesus as your personal Lord and Savior, you can do nothing to lose it. Catholic Christians donâ€™t believe this. 1:15.0	The argument goes, God did everything for you.
1:18.0	Jesus died on the cross to give you this gift of salvation.
1:22.0	And with God's mighty power to save what could we possibly
1:25.6	do to become unsaved so it's an argument in God's power through Jesus Christ.
1:32.6	Well, obviously Catholic Christians don't believe this.
1:35.6	So today we're going to look at the key Bible verses related to this teaching.
1:39.8	Hopefully it's going to be helpful and hopefully it'll help us have good conversations with our Protestant
1:46.0	evangelical friends and brothers and sisters so it's going to be a great show
