One of the things that we all did together, where we wrote manifestations or things that

we were trying to bring into our life with this solstice.

And I decided, why don't I get kind of wacky with this?

I don't know.

I asked for things that I think are generally impossible and just see what happens.

And so of the three things I asked for, one of them was to have a clear, safe, and timely

ride to this puzzle that was being built so I could see this person again.

Because my plan at that point was just to walk up to the top of the gorge and then hitchhike

from there.

Because in this cultural space I was in, hitchhiking was a completely acceptable and normal

means of travel.

And so you would get picked up really fast and easy.

But I would never have thought to do that because that's one of the things that my entire

life, my family, was one of those things that they stick to, like, please never hitchhike.

So it never even occurred to me.

I was like, oh no, that's a dangerous thing I would never do.

But now suddenly I'm in this new space and I'm like, hmm, I'll just walk up here, climb

off from the edge of the gorge as a apocalypse camp and just get in a random person's car

and see how far they can get me and then I'll just walk.

So that was the first thing on my list.

I was like, well, I will hitchhike if I have to, I would ideally prefer just to ride

in the safety of a vehicle the whole way, as opposed to part of the way.
