Hey friends, welcome to the very first episode of a summer series we're calling A Look to Jesus Summer.

Don't you love summer?

It's when everything is fruitful and blooming and all the wildflowers come out and you know

how much I love that.

It is a time where the weather is warm and the kids are off from school and the days are long

and it's kind of the time when you

assume that everything should be peaceful and easy. And I don't know about you. And if you

listen to my last episode, you know that it's not always easy and it's not always peaceful.

And on the off chance that sometimes summertime can feel chaotic for one reason or

another, we are doing a look to Jesus summer series to help us reset our minds and our hearts

to what is true about God so that we can start with peace and comfort and assurance from the

inside out, whether our kids are getting along or not on their

summer break, whether our vacation turns out or not, whether the visits from family and

schedules, and whether all that works out or not. We can be at rest. We can be at peace. We can know

joy and comfort and assurance because we are looking to

Jesus. Amen. So that's what I need this summer. And so I'm assuming you're just going to need

it too. And I'm bringing you along. First step today is the reminder about God's sovereignty

in our unknowns. And if you didn't listen to the last
