Summary

Last week, we talked about how introverts are often misunderstood in business and how many of those stereotypes can feel limiting, especially for women trying to build a business in a way that feels authentic to who they are.

In today's episode, I'm shifting the conversation toward extroverts and some of the misconceptions they face in the business world. While I'm not an extrovert myself, I think it's important to acknowledge that extroverted women in business are often misunderstood too. There can be assumptions that extroverts are always confident, naturally good at business, or constantly energized, when in reality there is so much more nuance than that.

And I think that'll be really helpful to you because neither is good nor bad, introverted,

introverts last week, I wanted to talk about extroverts this week. I'm married to an extrovert

who owns Fairway Finest,

which is a golf peril company. Him and I have a real estate company together where,

you know, we have Airbnbs. And so extroverts, I have tons of my business friends are

1:23.2

extroverts. They do exceptionally well also. So I want to make sure you understand that neither personality

1:29.7

is more prone to do well at certain parts of life. Okay. Whether or not you're an introvert

1:36.8

expert usually just has to do with how do you refuel, what drains you. It has more to do with

1:41.9

like your energy. And I'm not talking about energy from like a

1:44.4

woo-woo standpoint. I'm just talking about literally how physically you feel being around people

1:49.3

versus being alone. And so that's what we're going to talk about on this episode. I got to tell

1:55.4

you guys, I am not myself today. I have to go ahead and get this podcast recorded because, you know,

2:05.7

business does have a way of just keeping going, even when we have things in our personal

life that are just devastating. And over the weekend, we lost our nine-year-old golden-doodle

Stella. In fact, I think it was just the week before that it had been her birthday.

You guys have seen, if you're watching on YouTube right now, you have seen Stella on so many episodes.
