How are things in Charlottesville?

What up? They're chaotic. I mean, this is an exciting and crazy time right now, which we're going to dive into in a little bit, but it's good.

There's beauty in the chaos.

One of my absolute favorite lyrics from Irish singer-songwriter Dermic Kennedy is,

Your Souls is a Mix of Chaos and Art.

And it's like, I feel like that's where we're in the heart of right now. It's just a bunch of chaos and it's like I feel like that's where we're in the heart of right now it's just a bunch of chaos and art and it's beautiful.

Oh yeah I can dig it. So you're you're on the campus of the University of Virginia, you're the chaplain there.

Wawa and then you're also, I don't know what that. of the University of Virginia. You're the chaplain there. Hwah!

And then you're also, I don't know what that means,

but I'll just pretend I can hear it.

And then you're also at St Thomas Pines Parish there,

the University Parish.

So you have the experience of both collegiate life and of parochial life in a time of pandemic. So give us a sense for yeah the campus feel the parish feel the Charlottesville City feel how are things cooking there in the the old blue ridge.

Oh man the University feel is fascinating because all of our students,

we all went away for spring break,

and then never came back.

It was like, it was the craziest experience.
