Summary

My goal this week is to talk about the process of sanctification. My good friend Dr. Ben Olson invited me to play golf with him this week and it reminded me how the spiritual life is like golf. Full of frustrations, sand traps, water hazards, and missed putts. We’ll go through what a typical game of golf looks like for me and then relate that to the Catholic doctrine of sanctification. Seven kids Gabriel Mary Rose Jude Beckett blaze and Elizabeth and that means it's not easy to justify a trip out to the golf course.

But my good friend and buddy Dr. Ben Olson invited me recently to play golf with him this

past week and it was a lot of fun. We had a great time with each other.

A part of golf I think is just being with someone that you have a good friendship with and

I have good conversations with and as on the golf course I was just taken away by the beauty, it was a beautiful day,

there's beautiful clouds in the skies, a well-manicured golf course, flowers, down here in Texas, all the Crete-mertles are just popping.

Crete-mertles are these beautiful trees that come out in purple and red and white,

and they were just popping all over the golf course so it was absolutely

beautiful but mixed in with that were a bunch of frustrations because I'm not a

good golfer I think the last time I played golf
