Today, a nice phrasal verbs.

So many of you like phrasal verbs.

Today it is to crack someone up. To crack somebody up.

You crack me up. I crack you up. What does this mean? Crack C-R-A-C-K- Up, U-P. To crack somebody up, well, this is the idea.

Some people, they never smile. Even when you tell them a really funny joke, their lips don't change.

You know, when somebody smiles, usually they show their teeth.

Their mouth opens, and they go, they smile, and you see their teeth.

That way, you know, they're smiling, they're laughing, they're enjoying your joke your joke but some people they never smile their lips never separate they never crack that's the idea of crack to separate to break

to separate to break so we can think of an earthquake.

Oh, that's pretty scary.

But what happens in an earthquake?

Well, the idea is the ground cracks.

It separates.

There's a space.

So, in daily English, to crack somebody up means to make the person smile,

to make the person laugh. That's the idea. So tell me the truth. Sometimes do I crack you up? Do you laugh at my silly jokes, at my

silly conversations? Well, I hope so. I tried to do that. Let's check out the dialogue.
