A few weeks ago we took a trip out into the Oregon Coast Range. There's a highway

that heads over towards Tillamook, Oregon, the place where the famous Cheese

Factory is, and it goes, it cuts through the Oregon coast range and there's just a ton of hiking trails there and also a forest center that's run by the state it's free and apparently has all kinds of cool activities to learn about the forest and by the fact that I said apparently that may be a clue that we never actually made it to the forest center on that trip a few weeks ago. We did a day hike first before the

Forest Center and then some things happened and we never made it. We want to kind of share the story of what happened on this trip.

So we were headed out that morning, heading uphill, kind of, you know, getting close to the crest of the coast range and we were

coming up on this kind of viewpoint area so we decided to pull off to the viewpoint

and they had a sign with a map on it.

And I jumped out real quick to look at the map

and just make sure that I would recognize the turnoff

for the road that we were going to take to our hiking trail,

which was University Falls.
