Reggie spent most of his childhood in Montana, where he counterbalanced extensive formal

musical training by surrounding himself with an eccentric and creative circle of friends.

While attending Cornish College in Seattle, Watts began singing

for the band Mock Tube. In the course of consolidating his equipment, he discovered the looping

pedal and realized it allowed him to create multi-layered compositions using nothing but his voice.

In 2004, Reggie moved to New York, and his beatbox-driven songs began to merge with his growing interest in comedy.

Over the next decade, he appeared in dozens of TV shows and films, produced several albums and comedy specials, and collaborated with everyone from Regina Spector to Louis C.K. Reggie also co-starred with Scott Ackerman on Comedy Bang Bang on IFC until 2015 when he was

hired as the band leader for the Late Late Show on CBS. While he isn't a drummer in the traditional sense, Reggie is an innovative beatmaker and
