Welcome to track number four of the Lord's Anointed.

Hallelujah.

All right, let's pray.

Father, thank you so much for your blessing.

And thank you, Lord, for the opportunity that we have in you. Lord, heal us, bless us. In Jesus' name, amen. You may be seated. Now, the Lord's anointed, turn with me to first Samuel chapter 16.

And the Lord said unto Samuel, how long will thou mourn for Saul?

Sin I have rejected him from reigning over Israel, fill thine horn with oil, go,

and I will send thee to Jesse, the Bethlehemite, for I have provided me a king among his sons.

And Samuel said, how can I go if Saul hear it? He will kill and the Lord said take an hypha with thee and say

I am come to sacrifice to the Lord and call Jesse to the sacrifice and I'll show thee what

thou shall do and thou shalt anoint unto me him whom my name I name unto thee. Amen. Are you there? Okay. And he said, peaceably, I am come to

sacrifice unto the Lord, sanctify yourselves, all right, and he came to pass when they were

come that he looked on Eliab and said, surely the Lord's anointed is before him but the Lord said unto Samuel look not on his countenance or in the height

of his stature because I have refused him for the Lord seeth not as man seeth for man

looketh on the outer appearance by the Lord looketh on the heart. Amen.

Now, the first and important thing that I want you to see about, I'm taking you on a journey now with the Lord's Anointed,

and I want you to see how the life of the Lord's Anointed turns out to be. Amen.

And so just the very start of it all is what I'm sharing with you. And that is how in the first place someone becomes the anointed of the Lord.

How does it come about? Whenever we see someone who seems to be chosen by the lord or seems to be

anointed by the lord it looks as though the person is some special uh person who has been

selected by the Lord.
