Hello everybody.

We are recording this introduction about two weeks after we recorded the episode because as you may know,

we live in a different world now.

Do you remember two weeks ago?

Do you remember two weeks ago when things were fine?

I mean not in Italy.

Not really, but yeah, it was like kind of fine. I mean not in Italy not really but yeah it was like kind of fine and then now it's like we're definitely not fine at the moment.

So yeah we wanted to record a little bit of an intro slash addendum because basically all of professional theater

has closed because of the coronavirus.

Broadway was first to fall, then all of the theaters in California.

I was supposed to see Hamilton tonight.

Yes.

I'm so mad. And this is obviously kind of a big deal because a lot of people's jobs are at risk. A lot of people are just being put on furlow, for lack of a better word, with no pay.

And since this episode is about Beetlejuice, a show that was kind of teetering on the edge

of saving itself or not, this could be what does it in.

Hopefully not.

It's a good time to remind everybody that this content,

as the kids like to call it, is all in good fun

and even moving forward for the rest of these

episodes will you know I will obviously make jokes about musicals being

terrible etc but of course we don't wish ill on anyone's career or profession

...
