Let us return once more to a more civilized age, a clone wars podcast.

I'm Rob Zucny, joined by Ali Akkincora, Austin Walker, and Natalie Watson.

And we're in it.

0:20.5

We have arrived at last at the Clone Wars TV series and we get right into the swing of things with ambush in which we see Yoda conducting some armed diplomacy near the front lines of the war with

0:32.8

separatists.

0:33.9

Then we have the three-part malevolence arc

0:36.4

where the Republic must hunt down and destroy

0:38.4

a dangerous separatist battleship.

As you might expect, these episodes are rough in places and very much have the feel of a series still finding its identity, which frankly characterizes a lot of this first season.

0:51.0

However, some people have asked, so what's your skip list? We don't have a skip list. We're watching it all.

that episode is not very good and it's worth looking at like why that version of

1:30.6

the show kind of disappears as we go along. So we're going to be watching all of it.

1:36.8

Next time we are going to be watching the very good, sorry I don't mean to bias you. I should be letting you have your own journey with the

1:44.8

Clone Wars. And yet, we're going to watch rookies, which some people say, is very good.

1:58.5

Then we're going to watch a two-parter centering on another R2 unit, a different R2 unit, not famous R2D2, but R2D2's less competent cousin. This ain't no

2:06.0

Naboo R2 unit, but the question is, is it just incompetent and how many chances do we give this thing. So that's what we're going to be checking

2:15.2

out next time, but for now we're going to check out this first, not quite a pilot episode. I guess the movie was kind of the pilot and

2:24.8

then we're gonna see this this three-part episode and I think these the show these
