And we begin with an emotional President Biden going off script and getting personal

while saluting 2022's Teacher of the Year.

Berlin Ohio History Teacher Kurt Russell was honored by the President and finalists from

each of the fifty states at the White House on Wednesday.

And while congratulating Mr. Russell on the win, Mr. Biden gave credit to his childhood

teachers for helping him conquer a debilitating stutter.

I can name the ones through grade school, high school, even college the President told

the crowd, I didn't really beat it until I took a speech debate class in college just

to force myself to be able to stand up.
