It's Thursday, April 29, 2021, and we begin with Girl Scout Cookies dropping from the clear

blue skies of a small Virginia town, with traditional deliveries impossible because of

the pandemic.

A local troop from Christianburg teamed up with Google's drone company Wing to dropship

Cookies by Air.

The Whirly Bird Service had been testing out its technology in town since 2019, and

reached out to the Scouts to offer its services.

So far, the first of its kind concept has proven popular with both residents and the

girls themselves.
